Comments about WindFarms and the proposed Bleakhouse site

Your literature

Postby hudson on Thu Sep 04, 2008 9:51 am

has interest now been lost in this project to stop the wind farm?

I received your literature through the post and found it very disturbing that it was the first we had heard about this project.

I noticed though that no one seems to have posted here for sometime. I am keen to assist in stopping yet another piece of greenbelt being ruined. I am an enviroment friendly person with children but this wind farm will not save anywhere near enough resources to justify the effect on the local community.

What is the current state of play or is this a lost cause?

Hi hudson
The action group is going strong, and meet on a regular basis. Sorry for a late reply. We have recently had the administrator of the websites resign from the group and we are having difficulty updating these sites. If you require updates please email all@bwfag.co.uk and you will get a reply . Please keep in touch.

Ok I am with you, first i knew was a cheap tacky leaflet posted through the door but it was the map on the front that caught my eye. Im saying lets blast this round the area....websites, facebook, beebo....whack it as your image on msn.....email our local councillor, great things would be a local school involved and kids with placcards who state they are not against turbines but not in built up areas like ours.............YES WE ARE NOT RURAL!!! Lets suggest relocation to Hoar Cross......look at all the rural area they have with no real passing traffic apart from the odd tractor!!!! Come on, lets get this thing swinging to stop it winding!
